An appreciation evening celebrating the fundraising efforts of tennis clubs nationwide was recently held in Dublin. The event honoured clubs that supported the Tennis Ireland-endorsed charity initiative Tennis for Cancer Ireland.

Among those recognised were County Tipperary Lawn Tennis Club, with Club President Eddie Fitzgerald and committee member Declan Keaty pictured presenting funds raised during their recent Play in Pink Open American tournament.

Representatives from tennis clubs across the country were also in attendance, celebrating a remarkable collective fundraising total of €160,000. The proceeds will support two vital organisations: the National Breast Cancer Research Institute and ARC Cancer Support Centres.

Organisers expressed their sincere gratitude to club members and local tennis players whose generosity and participation made the event such a success.
